Brent W. Roberts, CCIM, specializes in office properties in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and has been involved in 1.6 billion dollars of office lease value, 2,400 transactions involving 16 million square feet of office space leased.

After a 4 year stint as a cash commodities trader, Brent began his real estate career in 1993 and has been a CCIM since 1997. His real estate knowledge and expertise of the office markets has earned him the CCIM Home Run Award, the Commercial Salesperson of the Year on several occasions, a consistent Top Three office producer in Kansas City and Broker of the Year. He has been involved in many of the area’s premier project leasing accounts, including Corporate Woods, Briarcliff, 11500 Ambassador, Zona Rosa, 7101 Tower, Financial Plaza, Commerce Plaza, Citigroup Campus, Lexmark Campus and The Sprint Campus.
Brent has served as the Chairman of the Commercial Division of the Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors and also served on the Board of the KCRAR, which involved lobbying efforts in Washington DC.
He was inducted into the Midwest Real Estate News Hall of Fame in 2018.

Brent has a Business degree from Indiana University and a MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
Max Lapke joined Block Real Estate Services, LLC and this team in 2018. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Finance, with a focus in financial modeling and investments.

Before graduating from KU, Max explored the world of commodities trading while working with The Redwood Group in Mission, Kansas. He learned the fast-paced deal process of a grain merchandiser with a focus on data and financial analysis.

After College, Max found his true passion in commercial real estate leasing and sales. The ability to work with people every day to fulfill their business’ office space needs invigorates him. He specializes in the leasing of all classes of office space within the College Boulevard corridor. He also has experience in the leasing of retail/shopping center space as well.
He has excelled and will be a dominant broker in the College Boulevard office market. He has become known for his office space tours and kindness, with no prospect being too small or too big. If there is a vacancy, Max will use maximum efforts to find the right match.

Bruce Johnson joined Block Real Estate Services, LLC (BRES) in 2009 as Vice President. Bruce specializes in the sales and leasing of office properties, tenant representation, and real estate investment advisory services. Throughout the career Bruce has represented a wide array of clients ranging from fortune 500 companies to local businesses. In addition to local transactions he has also negotiated leases and sales on behalf of his clients, throughout the US and Canada.
Prior to joining BRES, Bruce was affiliated with Prudential CRES Commercial Real Estate for 9 years, where he was awarded the Salesperson of the Year Award multiple times and was a member of the Prudential President’s Circle for Sales Excellence and Prudential’s Leading Edge Society. In 2005, Bruce obtained the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation, held by only six percent of the estimated 150,000 commercial real estate practitioners nationwide.
Bruce is licensed as a broker in both Kansas and Missouri. He is a member of the National Association of REALTORS, Missouri Association of REALTORS and the Kansas City Area Regional Association of REALTORS commercial division.
Bruce holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Missouri and is active in a number of University related activities. Bruce is a life-long Kansas City resident.
Bruce Served as a member of the Kansas City Chapter of CCIM from 2012 - 2019. He served as the CCIM Chapter President in 2018. He served as First Regional Vice President for the region of the CCIM. In 2019 and as regional Vice President and member of the CCIM board of directors in 2020.
